When you're building an estimate or repair order for a Peterbilt, Kenworth, or PACCAR-branded asset, Operations Search can pull PACCAR's official labor time standards, called SRTs (Service Repair Times), directly into your results. This makes sure warranty claims go through with the right reimbursement amount and that customer-pay estimates reflect accurate labor costs from the start, without switching between systems to look it up.
Where to find it
- Open Operations Search on the case.
- Click the Source dropdown.
- Select PACCAR SRT Operations.
You can do this from the main search bar or from Advanced Search.
How to search
- With PACCAR SRT Operations selected as your source, type in what you're looking for (for example, "alternator").
- Your results will list matching operations along with their labor time.
- Select the operation you want to add to the case.
NOTE: If you're not sure exactly what an operation is called, try a general term (like a part name) rather than a full repair description. The search will surface all related matches so you can pick the right one.
Things to know
- This only applies to PACCAR-brand assets (Peterbilt, Kenworth, and related PACCAR chassis). You won't see this source option, or won't get results, on assets outside that group.
- A VIN is required for the asset. If the asset doesn't have a VIN on file, SRT labor times won't be available, but you can still search and add operations from your other sources as usual.
- If PACCAR's system is temporarily unavailable, Operations Search will keep working normally. You just won't see SRT labor times until the connection is restored.
