For the Case V8.42.0 Release, targeted for July 17th, we're planning the following improvements.
Enhancements:
- Registered Fleet Assets | Releasing or transferring an asset out of a Registered Fleet no longer automatically closes any case currently open against that asset.
Coming Soon:
- PACCAR Portal Login | PACCAR is making security improvements to how you log in. Your login screen will soon look different, and sessions will expire after 24 hours (Launch Targeted for July 13th, 2026).
- Operation Status Visualization | Provides a clear, centralized view of all active repair jobs on the case—showing what work is in progress, who’s assigned to each task, and the current status—so you can quickly understand what’s happening at a glance (Launch Targeted for August 3rd, 2026).
Case V8.42.0 (Targeted for July 17th, 2026):
Releasing Registered Fleet Assets
Previously, releasing an asset from a Registered Fleet (in some cases) triggered an automatic closure of any open case tied to that asset. Going forward, asset release/transfer actions are decoupled from case closure entirely.
Why This Matters:
Dealers and brokers often have unfinished work — invoicing, parts orders, etc. — tied to an open case at the time an asset is released. Auto-closing the case removed visibility into that work before it was actually complete. This change ensures case status reflects real work status, not just fleet assignment.
Coming Soon:
PACCAR Portal Login
The PACCAR portal login process has been updated to support automatic single sign-on (SSO) redirection. Most users will now be directed to their organization's login page after entering their email address, streamlining sign-in.
Login sessions now automatically expire after 24 hours. When a session expires, you'll be redirected to the login page and prompted to sign in again. This applies to all PACCAR portal users, regardless of sign-on method.
